Times have changed. We live in an era where AI is revolutionizing the way we produce and consume arts; whether this is music, videos, or as is the case for me, photography. New editing programs are making photo editing faster and more efficient, while the sheer existence of these tools has boosted the number of artists who can create and innovate every day. With this change, however, come along many other ‘side effects,’ including artists’ difficulty finding new ideas, being stuck with a creative block, and struggling to come up with new content ideas.
As a photographer of over fifteen years, I have had moments of incredible passion and motivation, and moments where I was at a loss. No matter what I attempted to do, I simply could not find the initial fire I had in me at the very start, that fire that fuelled my ideas and creativity. This is a difficult hurdle to overcome for any artist, but it is nonetheless one that can be overcome with the right tools – and this book is one of these.
The Bored Photographer is a book about finding one’s passion, one’s interests, and one’s creative side again in a world where the stress of constantly creating content can quickly become overwhelming, freezing artists in their place. It is a book for all artists, small and established alike, who may need that push or a few new ideas to find their creative selves again.
